Please scroll down and read if you are having trouble logging in or are not receiving e-mails from us about clinics, and for information about needing to re-register for the November 2024 clinic.

Important Information About Lost Accounts

On November 4, 2024 our website was rebooted and restored to a backup but that backup was unfortunately taken on May 5, 2019, and we have no more recent backups. Therefore, any accounts that were created after May 5, 2019 have been lost, and you will need to create a new account.

If you had an account that was created prior to May 5, 2019, it was not lost but you may need to reset your password, or update the e-mail address for your Thousand Smiles account if either was changed after May 5 2019.

Finally, regardless of the above, you will need to re-register for the Nov 2024 Clinic if you are planning on attending. More information about that will be posted once we re-start that clinic (should happen on or before October 19, 2024, please check back here for more updates at that time)

Follow these instructions if your Thousand Smiles account was created after May 5 2019

Accounts created after May 5, 2019 need to be re-created. Create a new account by clicking here Sign up. Important: if you are told that the user name you selected already is in use, this probably means that your account actually exists. You might try instead resetting your password, or perhaps changing your e-mail address if either had been changed after May 5, 2019. Continue reading for how to reset your password or change your e-mail address. If you are unsure if you have an account, please e-mail us at info@thousandsmiles.org with the e-mail address associated with your account, and account username if you remember it, and we will let you know. We also can offer help by phone, Monday thru Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST. Our number is 619-267-6960

Please take note if your Thousand Smiles account was created before May 5 2019

Similarly any accounts that existed before May 5, 2019 were reverted back to their state as of May 5, 2019. If you changed the e-mail address associated with your account, your password, or your profile, those changes will have been restored to what they were as of May 5 2019. To login you may need to reset your password. If you have a new e-mail address, you may need to change it again to receive e-mail from us about upcoming clinics. Or, if you changed your profile, or registered for recurring clinics, you maybe need to make those changes again. Here are some steps you can follow:

If you had an account before May 5 2019 and are having trouble logging in, it could be because you had reset your password sometime after May 5 2019. Reset your password by clicking here Reset password

If you had an account before May 5 2019 and are not receiving e-mails from us about new clinics (those e-mails are sent 30 days before the first Friday of a clinic, typically in the months of January, April, July, and October), it could be because you had changed your e-mail address after may 2019. To correct this, you can edit your e-mail address by clicking here Change email address

To update your profile, login and then click here Edit profile

To view or create your recurring clinic registrations, login and then follow the instructions provided
